Improved Microsoft Outlook
The layout of the Microsoft Outlook for Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 has improved when compared to its older versions. The Deleted Items folder is now in the bottom of the folder tree. The navigation is also now done through the ribbon menu, which is the same for the entire Microsoft Office suite.

The new Conversations feature in Outlook 2010 can also allow you to group the long email threads. Afterward, you view them in a collapsed or an expanded view. It also allows sharing of the calendar to the team that makes synching of appointments and meetings easier.
New Features in Microsoft Word
The Microsoft Office Word for the Professional Plus 2010 also includes some new features. This includes the Collaboration feature which makes it simpler to work with the team in an online setting. Documents can also be shared easily and can be saved in the cloud through the Windows Live SkyDrive.
There are also improvements in the Graphic tools which eliminates the need for using other external programs. It has a Remove Background tool that can quickly identify the background from the selected area for approval to remove.
New Image Editing Feature
From the limited image editing features of the Microsoft Office’s older versions, the Professional Plus 2010 makes better functionalities in this area. The WordArt and picture editing feature now include some new preset filters, themes, and shadows to improve your image.
There are also some new transitions and animations for the PowerPoint in Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. While the transitions and animations are combined in a single ribbon interface tab before, it has now separate tabs with even more options. Editing videos in PowerPoint 2010 are now made possible as well by cropping and adjusting the brightness.
Additional Web Applications Feature
The Office Professional Plus 2010 now catches up with internet applications through its new Save the Web feature. This tool allows you to save web files directly to the cloud in the Windows Live SkyDrive with 25 GB free capacity. Uploaded files can also be retrieved in different computers or can be shared with others. It can also be accessed in computers without Office apps installed through the Microsoft Office Web Apps.
Additional Office Applications
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 also includes other Office Apps. The first one is the Office Access. This app has a secure database to track and report relevant information. InfoPath is also present for quicker data collection from people in your business. Finally, the Communicator is designed to quickly know when and how to reach someone to make communication readily available.
The application also includes the new SharePoint workspace that helps expand the boundaries of office collaboration. This happens through a fast and anytime-anywhere access to the SharePoint team sites.
